Why seamless rain gutters?
A seamless rain gutter is formed in one continuous piece for each run of the roofline, so the only joints are at the corners and the downspouts. Fewer joints means fewer places to leak, and a cleaner line along the roof edge.
Rain gutters, snow and ice
In northern Utah a rain gutter carries snowmelt as much as rain, so it has to be sized for spring runoff and for the weight of snow.

The roof edge and the gutter work as one piece: water has to leave the shingles, clear the drip edge and land in the gutter. When both are done together they line up, and the fascia behind the old gutters can be checked while it is exposed.
